It appears early in the season that the Celtics and Lakers are on a collision course to the NBA
Finals again.
In College Hoops North Carolina looks to be head and shoulders above everyone else. Case in point the
Tar Heels beat Kentucky 77-58 this week without All-American POY Tyler Hansbrough! Roy Williams’
team is my pick to win the National Championship this year.
A couple of things went on in the NFL this week that need to be addressed. The NFL clearly dropped
the ball (no pun intended) at the end of the Steelers/Chargers game last Sunday in Pittsburgh which
was a 11-10 Steelers win. The end of the game saw the Chargers trying to pull off Music City Miracle
ala the Tennessee Titans. In my eyes, Pittsburgh scored a touchdown by picking up a loose ball and
running into the end zone to make the score 17-10 pending the extra point. The play went under
review and you could clearly hear the ref say "after review the ruling on the field is touchdown."
Then an official comes out of nowhere and says something to the ref who was reviewing the play and
they reversed the call and say no touchdown. It smells like a fix to me and I am neutral as I did
not have a play on the game. Last but not least, how is it possible for Donovan McNabb to not know
that NFL games can end in a tie?
