Kevin Garnett returns to Minnesota for a 2nd time

The Boston Celtics made short work of the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night and now will get to enjoy a steep drop in class for Friday's matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the former team of current Boston superstar Kevin Garnett. No surprise that the Celtics are six-point road favorites for this one, and it would probably higher if not for the T'Wolves pulling out their second win of the season last time out, 102-96, over Philadelphia. Boston has won three straight and 9 of their last 10. They have also covered back-to-back games after failing to do so in their previous four. Minnesota played the defending champs tough last year, losing both meetings by a combined three points.
